Today, we are sharing a visit to a beautiful yarn shop on Alberta Street in NE Portland, Close Knit.
Close Knit is located in the heart of a street lined with DIY stores and creative spaces. The ladies in the shop were incredibly welcoming, and I'm excited to have a great resource for knitting knowledge & supplies close by. The shop is beautifully organized, and has the warmth that every knitting shop should have. What better way to invite someone to get cozy & comfortable with knitting than to create an equally inviting atmosphere?
Close Knit features classes in knitting and crochet, and a huge assortment of the finest fibers. Even if you don't have a knitting project in mind, walking in makes you eager to start something, anything to get your hands on their yarn. If you're in Portland, you might already know about this great shop -- but if not, we highly recommend you stop in.
