Color Cravings: Frosty Lime
We're feeling the (subtle) heat today, as the weather is warming up slightly here (finally!). They used to say you could wear shorts in February in Atlanta, but it is unfortunately no longer true. We've had great fluctuations in weather recently, so today we're celebrating a color that makes us feel like sitting outside with a mojito: frosty lime!
Lime comes in quite a few forms, from the neon interior to the solid earthy exterior. Our selections celebrate both -- because you've got a little of both in our favorite warm weather refreshment!
1. Essie Mojito Madness Polish
Essie is in our top two nail polish brands, next to Butter London. It's not too expensive and with a proper top coat, can go chip-free for at least a week. They've got the perfect color to match our mood & inspiration, Mojito Madness. Just in time for St. Patrick's Day?
2. Tabletop Forest
We love these simple trees, reminiscent of a Japanese bonsai forest. The shop has an assortment of colors great for any setting. We like the green because it reminds us of the warm outdoors, but the pastel & jewel tone might just be our favorite.
3. Jonathan Adler Green Leather & Linen Pillow
There's a special place in our heart for Jonathan Adler, and we are crazy for neutrals & neons these days. This pillow is timeless, and we'll take one in every color!
4. Lime Dot Baby Bow Tie
Few things come close in cuteness to a baby in a bow tie, and this tie is perfect for a spring stroll through the park, in a tiny suit.
5. Lime Hedgehog Nightlight
Remember when night lights were kind of unsightly, encased in plastic with a utilitarian vibe? Dress up your switches with a burst of color sure to keep the boogie man away, handmade in Boston.
6. Shepherd's Wool Fingering Weight Yarn
Perfect for a lightweight project, this fingering yarn in lime green has just the right amount of variegation that balances out the brightness, maintaining a natural feel.
7. Sea Elf of Oaxaca
This hand painted creature from designer Jessica Swift carries the history of Mexican handcrafts, "messengers of universal energy" sure to uplift you and bring a serious pop of color to any nook or cranny. We love these little guys, and this bright green is just what we're feeling!
8. Striped Paper Bags in Green
We love our paper bags, and we must admit that our lime green is a perfect addition to this list. Toss some limes in a bag to tag along at a spring picnic!
